The Student

Back when the owner of MyUSConsul was a consular officer, he interviewed a delightful and completely qualified university student for a J-1 visa. The J-1 was approved by MyUSConsul’s expert without much questioning. And then the applicant fainted, and fell right to the concrete floor! The embassy medical team checked her out, and she explained that she had awoken early, experienced travel delays on her long trip to the embassy, had to wait on line once she arrived, and had not had time to eat or drink. Plus, she said, she was incredibly nervous. Happily, she was alright, and hopefully she enjoyed her summer in the United States. Had the student used MyUSConsul, she would have been more relaxed and confident.
