Consular Processing Training with MyUSConsul

How It Works

The process is easy.

Sign up and pay for your personal MyUSConsul session early enough so you can lock in your visa interview prep session before your interview at the consulate. This way, you will have the time to practice with us and work on anything that might come up during your session. The process is easy:

Schedule your US visa interview preparation session!

First, the “Schedule a Session” tabs will take you go the calendar where you will choose a session date and time convenient for you. All times Eastern Standard (Philadelphia, New York).

Answer questions!

When you click the "Schedule a Session" tab, and you will be prompted to fill out a questionnaire.

Pay and Lock In Your Visa Interview Prep Session!

Before you submit the questionnaire and lock in the visa interview preparation session, you will be asked to submit your payment of $250. Please follow the links to the payment option of your choice.

Booking a session means someone else may not be able to get the help they need when they want it, so we require payment upfront. In addition, we will be reviewing the documents you will upload before the session, and we can’t prepare for free! We may even research the consulate or embassy at which you are going to apply. We may even know somebody who has worked at that consulate or embassy who can give us some tips to share with you. Your payment tells us you are serious and committed and tells us to start working.

Submit documents!

After you schedule and pay for your session, you will be directed to a document submission tab. Follow the instructions. We strongly advise that you submit at least the DS-160 (CEAC) online visa application, or as much of it as you have prepared and downloaded.

The DS-160 gives us the basics - what visa you are applying for, your income information, and prior travel. The computer system the US State Department uses REQUIRES that the Consular Officer review the DS-160, so we might as well look at it too. If you haven’t signed or completed the form yet, an incomplete form is fine. You can submit your documents anytime prior to your session. However, the sooner you do it, the more time we will have to review the documents. If you wait until right before your MyUSConsul session, the system may not download them in time, or we may have to take time out of the interview coaching session to review them.

The size of your upload is limited. Why do we limit the size of your upload? Believe it or not, the Consular Officer will generally not spend too much time reviewing your documents, so it does you no good to download a lot of documents. Therefore, think carefully about the most important thing you’d like to say at your interview. The most important document is one that helps you say exactly that most important thing.

Log in at the appointed date and time!

Once you have scheduled, paid the $250 fee, and uploaded documents, you need not do anything until a few minutes before the interview. Make sure you have Zoom client installed, or log in a few minutes early to get it up and running so that you get counseling for every minute you’ve reserved. After we establish a secure connection and say hello, we will interview you as if you are at the interview. We will advise and critique your performance and answer as many questions as you have during the time you’ve booked.

We do US visa interview preparation and practice for $250 an hour.

You can also use the platform to set up a general consultation with attorney Pazan, even if you don’t have a visa interview scheduled. For general consultations, answer the Consular Processing questions only where applicable and put the subject of your inquiry in the notes.
